Empirical Ventures has led a £2 million seed round in Healome, the biotechnology company developing a first-in-class ocular fluid-gel therapy.
Healome is developing a lubricating, protective eye-drop technology that stays on the eye surface for longer, improving adherence and outcomes.
The new capital will help the team accelerate development and bring the technology closer to market.
