MitoRx Therapeutics has raised a £5.5 million pre-Series A round, with Empirical Ventures, to advance its mitochondrial-medicine pipeline.
MitoRx develops small-molecule therapeutics built on an endogenous mitochondrial sulfide-signalling mechanism.
The new capital will help the team accelerate development and bring the technology closer to market.
