Empirical Ventures has backed QV Bioelectronics as part of a £4.5 million funding milestone for its implantable glioblastoma therapy.
Glioblastoma is one of the deadliest, most treatment-resistant cancers, with a five-year survival rate of under 7%.
The new capital will help the team accelerate development and bring the technology closer to market.
